Superworms
Superworms (Zophobas morio) — Large, active feeder insects commonly used for reptiles, amphibians, birds, and insect-eating pets. Superworms are known for their high palatability and movement, which strongly stimulates feeding responses, making them an excellent choice for picky or recovering eaters.
Superworms have a softer body than mealworms and do not require refrigeration, allowing them to stay active at room temperature. While higher in fat than some feeders, they are best offered as part of a varied, balanced diet.
Superworms are an excellent feeder for variety and enrichment but should be fed in moderation due to their higher fat content.
