Exotic Pets 701 — Return, Refund & Deposit Policy

At Exotic Pets 701, we take pride in providing healthy, well-cared-for exotic animals and high-quality products. Due to the sensitive nature of live animals and strict biosecurity standards, all sales are final. Please review the policy below before completing your purchase.


1. Live Animal Sales

  • All sales of live animals are final.
    No refunds, returns, or exchanges are permitted once a live animal has been picked up or delivered. 

  • Buyers are encouraged to inspect the animal in person (or via video call, if applicable) prior to finalizing the sale.

  • By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that the animal’s health and condition were reviewed and accepted at the time of sale.


2. Deposit Policy (Non-Refundable Deposits)

A non-refundable deposit may be required to reserve certain animals or specialty breeds.

Deposit Terms

  • All deposits are non-refundable, but not lost.

  • If a customer changes their mind after placing a deposit, they may:

    • Apply the deposit toward a different animal or breed, OR

    • Receive store credit equal to the deposit amount toward any future purchase. - 2weeks max


3. Product Sales (Supplies, Feeders, Equipment)

To ensure health and safety:

  • All sales of supplies, feeders, insects, enclosures, supplements, and equipment are final.

  • We cannot accept returns on any item once it has left the store due to contamination risks and welfare considerations.


4. Responsibility After Sale

  • Once an animal or product leaves Exotic Pets 701, the buyer assumes full responsibility for care, housing, handling, and overall well-being.

  • Exotic Pets 701 is not responsible for injury, illness, improper husbandry, or loss that occurs after pickup or delivery.


5. Acknowledgment

By completing any purchase at Exotic Pets 701, you agree to the terms of this Refund, Return & Deposit Policy and understand that all sales and deposits are final.
