Umbrella Cockatoo

Umbrella Cockatoo (Cacatua alba) — A large, highly intelligent parrot native to the tropical rainforests of Indonesia. Umbrella cockatoos are instantly recognizable by their pure white plumage and dramatic, fan-shaped crest that lifts when the bird is excited, alert, or seeking attention.

Umbrella cockatoos are extremely social and emotionally sensitive birds. They form intense bonds with their caretakers and thrive on constant interaction. Known for their affectionate and cuddly nature, they often seek physical contact, but without proper boundaries and enrichment, they can develop behavioral issues such as screaming or feather plucking.
